This website uses a cookie consent banner to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your device or to the use of certain technologies, and to document this in compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Purpose: When you visit our website, a connection is established with the consent provider to record your preferences (consent or refusal). This selection is stored in encrypted form so that it can be automatically applied the next time you visit the site.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically—based on your consent or to fulfill a contract—provided to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another data controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do so, you may contact us at any time at the address provided in the legal notice. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.

If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.

If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Article 21(1) of the GDPR, a balancing of your interests against ours must be conducted. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data—apart from its storage—may be processed only with your consent or for the purpose of asserting, exercise, or defense of legal claims; to protect the rights of another natural or legal person; or for reasons of a substantial public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Cookies

Some of the web pages on this site use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to block the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies that are necessary for the electronic communication process or for providing specific functions you have requested (e.g., the shopping cart feature) are stored pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. To the extent that other cookies (e.g., cookies used to analyze your browsing behavior) are stored, these are addressed separately in this Privacy Policy.

Server Log Files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information includes: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form

If you submit inquiries to us via the contact form, we will store the information you provide in the inquiry form—including the contact details you provide there—for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent.

The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. If your contact is aimed at entering into a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed; this is the case when the circumstances indicate that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved and provided that no statutory retention obligations preclude this.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal email. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

We collect, transmit, and store the data gathered here solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and, if applicable, processing your order. This data is subsequently deleted. Mandatory legal provisions—in particular retention periods—remain unaffected.

  1. Social Media, Plugins, and Tools

Sharing content via plugins (Facebook, Google+1, Twitter, etc.)

The content on our website can be shared on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ in compliance with data protection regulations. This website uses the eRecht24 Safe Sharing Tool for this purpose. This tool establishes direct contact between the networks and users only when the user actively clicks on one of these buttons.

This tool does not automatically transfer user data to the operators of these platforms. If the user is logged into one of the social networks, an information window appears when using the social buttons for Facebook, Google+1, Twitter, etc., in which the user can confirm the text before submitting it.

Our users can share the content of this page on social networks in compliance with data protection regulations without the network operators creating complete browsing profiles.

Facebook Plugins (Like & Share Buttons)

Plugins from the social network Facebook, provided by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated into our pages. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our page. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. This informs Facebook that you have visited our site using your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. Please note that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how Facebook uses it. Collection and Sharing of Information: You can use the Google+ button to share information globally. Through the Google+ button, you and other users receive personalized content from Google and our partners. Google stores both the fact that you have given a piece of content a +1 and information about the page you were viewing when you clicked +1. Your +1s may appear as recommendations alongside your profile name and photo in Google services—such as in search results or on your Google Profile—or in other places on websites and in ads across the web.

Google records information about your +1 activity to improve Google services for you and others. To use the Google+ button, you need a public Google profile that is visible worldwide and must include at least the name you selected for the profile. This name is used across all Google services. In some cases, this name may also replace another name you used when sharing content through your Google Account. The identity associated with your Google profile may be visible to users who know your email address or have other identifying information about you.

Use of the Collected Information: In addition to the purposes described above, the information you provide is used in accordance with Google’s applicable privacy policies.
